Born and raised in Michigan, Sara landed in Boston in 2015 after spending almost 13 years in Atlanta. Her husband and two boys enjoy exploring all of what Boston has to offer. They call Belmont home but you may find them chasing their kids through Boston Common, grabbing ice cream at JP Licks on Charles Street, candlepin bowling at Sacco’s in Davis Square or hitting up Shake Shack in Harvard Square.
Sara began her career as an IT recruiter over 13 years ago and has built a successful book of business in both Atlanta and Boston. Her approach to working with her clients is relationship based and clients trust that she will not only deliver qualified candidates but stand behind them as well.
Being a working mother, Sara knew when it came time to find childcare for her firstborn son that a nanny was the way to go. Finding the perfect fit became even more important when her son was diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome. After hiring multiple nannies for their family over the last six years and experiencing how overwhelming and difficult it can be to find the right candidate, Sara knew there was an opportunity to build something great. She could use her 13 years of professional recruiting experience combined with a mother’s instinct to create Cloud9 Nannies. #oncloud9
When Sara’s first son was diagnosed at birth with Down syndrome she was immediately thrust into the world of special needs. It’s daunting for any first-time parent to go back to work but even more difficult when a child has special needs. Knowing that their caregiver understands and has experience with Down syndrome she feels confident that both of her children are receiving the best care possible. Cloud9 places nannies that have experience with all types of special needs such as Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism and more. We screen candidates based on your criteria to ensure that we find the perfect fit. #oncloud9
